I reminded Ryan that today was baseball (he asks me every day, "How many times do I have to sleep until baseball?" - he loves it). Also, Coach Elwood has been so good with Ryan. Ryan was scared to death of the pitching machine (he plays on a coach-pitched team), so Coach Elwood pitched to him instead of the machine, and that was all he needed. He isn't afraid to come any more and he has more self-confidence because of the coaches.
They make him feel like a big baseball player (and he's only five years old). Thank you so much for letting him participate in this clinic. I'm sure some of the older boys (and their mothers) were not thrilled to see such a little guy (and the tears on the first day didn't help), but he loves baseball and this was very special to him.

I just wanted to thank you again for doing such a great job with David's birthday party! He and his friends had a great time, and I want you to know that a number of the parents who were there watching were extremely impressed (and one mom told me she may be contacting you for her son's party at the end of January.)
And, as David dictates his thank-you cards to me (he can't write much yet by himself), he said to one friend, "I hope you had as good a time as I did at my party and that maybe you will want t go with me to the summer camp with Coach Elwood."

Tim enjoyed (over his initial protests) Headfirst Baseball during the last week of March when his school was on break. Tim can hardly wait to sign up for the summer camp. He really enjoyed the letter that he received today (addressed to him!) thanking him for his participation in Spring Break camp and outlining some of the fun for the summer. And it also helps tremendously with both skill advancement and teaching appreciation of the game.

Geoff played a phenomenal game with his BCC team yesterday afternoon. He hit a triple with bases loaded and two good singles. And he caught a fly ball in a classic Headfirst dive. So even though he is a bit down about his hitting on Gamers I think even he can see that all of his coaching and playing with you guys is really paying off. Thanks.

My two boys, Linus aged 11 and Abbott aged 8, are currently at your summer camp at Norwood this week. They have had such a good time that they want to try and join the "Gamers" for this coming fall season.

Thank you for your willingness to give Will a few more lessons. I was so impressed with all you taught him and how you handled him and how much he gleaned from your words of wisdom. One session with you went a looooong way. You're wonderful.
