hired for their abilities to positively communicate with children and young
adults and also lead by example as role models. Former and present high school,
college and professional student-athletes and professional coaches comprise
the best staff in the area. On top of that, our Camp staff has some of the
best and most qualified teachers and school administrators in the area.

Brendan Sullivan
Brendan was a four-year varsity player at St. Albans School ('93) where he was three-time All-Interstate Athletic Conference; two-time Washington Post First Team All-Met ['92-'93], and the 1993 Gatorade Circle of Champions Player of the Year for Washington, D.C. He attended Stanford University, graduating in 1996. While a member of the Cardinal, Brendan participated in three NCAA regional tournaments and the 1995 College World Series, leading the team in saves and appearances during his sophomore season.
Also in 1995 Brendan was selected Reliever of the Year in the Cape Cod Summer League. Drafted in the 26th round in 1996, Brendan signed with the San Diego Padres. He played minor league baseball for 5 years and was promoted to the Triple-A Las Vegas Stars his last two seasons.
Brendan is the Director of Headfirst Baseball and coordinates the Headfirst Gamers, a Washington, DC based developmental and select baseball program for ages 8 thru 18. In 2004, Brendan was named a National Double-Goal Coach of The Year award winner, presented by the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA).

Rob is a graduate of St. Albans School ('92) where he lettered in four varsity sports, set a single-game record as a pass receiver as well as honors as an All-Interstate Athletic Conference pitcher.
After graduating from STA, Rob went on to play baseball and football at Amherst College in Massachusetts. He earned baseball Rookie of the Year honors his freshman year and continued to lead the Lord Jeffs as a two-year team captain.
Rob was also awarded the team's Most Valuable Player award his junior season and helped Amherst win their first NCAA bid to the Division III tournament. After graduating in 1996, Rob was named the prestigious Amherst College Hitchcock Fellow, awarded to the student-athlete excelling both in the classroom and on the playing fields. The fellowship allowed Rob to coach football, basketball and baseball at Amherst College, all while pursuing his Masters degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts @ Amherst. Before joining Headfirst Baseball, Rob worked in the scouting and player development front offices of the Boston Red Sox and the Cleveland Indians. Rob is Headfirst's Director of Summer Camps and Program Development and has recently developed the Headfirst Mentoring Program, an academic tutoring service designed to help students organize and excel to their fullest potential.

Justin is a graduate of Amherst College where he played both football and baseball. As a senior in 1997, Cronk helped lead Amherst baseball to a #1 ranking in New England and a #7 division III national ranking with a batting average over .400.
In 1998, Justin earned his Masters Degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts while simultaneously acting as a teaching assistant for Sports Law, an arbitration consultant for the Boston Red Sox, and an assistant coach for hitters/infielders at Amherst.
Justin then went on to serve one year as the Recruiting Coordinator and assistant coach for Boston College where he coached outfielders and hitters. In 2000, Justin went to UNC-Asheville as the Recruiting Coordinator/Head Assistant Coach before a 3-year stint as the Head Coach of Shenandoah University in Virginia.
After coaching college baseball for 6 years, Justin joined the Baseball Factory in 2003 as the Baseball Operations Coordinator and College Relations Director. Justin is Headfirst's Director of Instruction, Curriculum and Operations.

Paul is a 1994 graduate of Sidwell Friends School, where he was a four-time Washington Post First Team All Met selection ('91-'94). Goldstein became the first player in United States history to win the USTA National Championships in Kalamazoo, MI. three consecutive years ('92-'94). He was the #1 ranked player in the country in both 16U and 18U. Paul attended Stanford University and became the first player in NCAA Tennis history to lead his school to four consecutive National Championships ('95-'98), serving as captain of two of those squads. Paul was also the first two-time recipient of the Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship and Leadership Award ('97-'98). Goldstein has played professionally since his graduation in 1998. He has achieved a career high ranking of #69 in the world and recorded wins over Patrick Rafter, Alex Corretja, James Blake, Mardy Fish and Greg Rusedski. He is currently ranked #78 and is the highest ranked player in the world who holds a college degree.

Jesse was a four-year starter and all-time leading goal-scorer at St. Albans (1994). He was 3-time All-Interstate Athletic Conference, 2-time First Team All-Met, and the Washington Post Player of the Year his senior year. He then played at Princeton University, where he was a 3-time All-American (1st Team twice) and a 3-time National Champion (1996, 1997, 1998). During the NCAA’s, he was All-Tournament 3 times, and he scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the 1996 National Championship. He was also four-year All-Ivy League, including Ivy League Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year. In addition, he was Academic All-Ivy League and graduated in 1996 with a degree in Economics. Jesse currently holds the record for all-time goals scored at Princeton.
Continuing his career after college, Jesse played in the 1998 Lacrosse World Games where he won a World Championship with Team USA. He then played box lacrosse (indoor) for the Baltimore Thunder in the National Lacrosse League, where he was the Rookie of the Year in 1999. He played two more years in the NLL, and began playing professional outdoor lacrosse when he was selected to play in Major League Lacrosse's Inaugural Summer Showcase Tour in 2000. Since 2000, Jesse has played professionally for the New Jersey Pride, where he has made every All-Star Team, as well as being the leading goal scorer in each season of years 2001, 2002, and 2003.
Since 1999, Jesse has worked for Warrior Lacrosse, the leading lacrosse manufacturer, in various product development and marketing roles. He is named an inventor on numerous patents for lacrosse heads and equipment, and he has been instrumental in the development and design of high-end lacrosse sticks and equipment. In addition to this, Jesse has traveled to over 20 states teaching the sport of lacrosse and inspiring children to play lacrosse, the fastest growing team sport in the US.
Jesse joins Headfirst as the Lacrosse Director. He will organize and oversee all Headfirst camps, clinics, College Consulting Programs, Honor Roll National Camps and Winter Clinics.

Mike Wilson is Director of Headfirst Basketball. He coordinates and oversees all of the headfirst basketball programs throughout the year.
Mike brings over 14 years of professional and collegiate basketball experience to the Headfirst Team. He is a 10-year veteran of the Harlem Globetrotters. In 2000 he set the "Guinness World Record" for the highest slam-dunk on a 12-foot goal.
Mike has traveled the country and the world as a Harlem Globetrotter Advance Ambassador. He was one of the only Globetrotters designated to motivational speaking, making public and commercial appearances, and radio and television interviews. He's even performed ball-handling tricks with Katie Couric on the Today Show. Over the past 10 years he's not only played and performed, but instructed thousands of kids enrolled in Globetrotter basketball skills camps all over the world
Mike majored in education at the University of Memphis, where he played under Coach Larry Finch where he was a starting guard on the 1995 Tiger team that made it to the NCAA Sweet 16.

Steve is a 1997 graduate of Indiana Tech where he was a four-year starter and two- year captain of the baseball team. As a player, he received All-District honors in 1994 and All-Section honors in 1996. He was the first baseball player in school history to have his uniform number retired and in 2001 he became a member of the Indiana Tech Athletic Hall of Fame.
Steve served as assistant baseball coach at Indiana Tech from 1997-1999, 2002. In that time, Indiana Tech made 3 NAIA World Series appearances including a National Runner-Up in 1998. In 2001, Steve coached the Dornbirn Indians of the Austrian Baseball League and worked with youth development. Steve served as head coach from 2003-2005 at Indiana Tech. He guided Indiana Tech to a 5th place finish at the 2003 NAIA World Series, the 2004 Conference Championship, and 2004 Super Regional Runner-Up.
Steve is the Manager of Sports Programs and serves as the assistant Director of the Headfirst College Advisory Team.

Felipe is a 2005 graduate of the
University of Valparaiso in Chile where he holds a degree in Biomedical
Engineering. While in Chile, Felipe was a 4-year starter at both the
high school and collegiate levels.
Felipe brings to Headfirst an international presence and a passion for
the game. He started working with Headfirst back in 2004 and continues
today as the Headfirst Soccer Director. We are thrilled to welcome Felipe
to the United States and to Headfirst.

Tiffney is the Director of Camps
and After School Programs at Headfirst. She is a 1984 graduate of Shepherd
College, Shepherdstown, WV and holds a B.S. in Sociology. Tiffney
is married, and the mother of two teenage sons (Cody, STA ’09 and
T.J. Our Lady of Good Counsel ’11) Tiffney has worked previously
in the Admissions and Summer Programs Office at St. Albans, Coached at
Hill’s Gymnastics in Gaithersburg, MD, and in the Admissions Office
at St. John’s Episcopal School in Olney, MD. Tiffney brings
a passion and enthusiasm for children and youth sports to Headfirst.
Tara joined the Headfirst organization
in January 2007 as Controller. She is responsible for the financial and
administrative day-to-day operations of the business.
Tara is a C.P.A.
that brings over 10 years of experience in auditing, financial systems
design and implementation, project management, and controllership. She
has worked for large corporations in the financial industry (Arthur Andersen,
Freddie Mac) but also has previous experience in sports (New Jersey Gladiators
- Arena Football).
Tara graduated from American University with a B.S.
in Accountancy, and lives with her husband and son in Alexandria.
Mary is the Summer Camp Operations
Site Director and Human Resource Director at Headfirst. She holds a B.A.
in Elementary Education from Trinity College and is a member of the Alpha
Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Mary is married, and mom to Brett
who attends The Congressional Schools of Virgina in Falls Church, Va.
Mary taught Kindergarten at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School, and also
directed their Summer Programs and worked in their Extended Day Programs.
She recently was the Extended Hours Program Director and Director of
Athletic, Specialty and Travel Programs at Congressional. Headfirst is
proud to have Mary on board to help to continue the development and growth
of Headfirst Camps.
Ted was a two-time All-Interstate
Athletic Conference selection at St. Albans in Washington D.C as a pitcher
and third baseman. He attended Duke University, where he was named to
the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team each of his four years
there. His 31 appearances out of the pen his senior year were the second
most in school history and earned him Duke's Fireman of the Year Award,
given to the team's best relief pitcher.
Ted graduated Cum Laude in 1999 and was drafted in the 37th round
by the Cleveland Indians that June. He spent his first professional
season with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers of the New York Penn League
(short season single-A).
After begining the 2000 season back with the Scrappers, Ted was promoted
on June 27 and became a member of the Columbus Redstixx of the full season
single A South Atlantic League. After 6 weeks in the Sally League, Ted
was moved up again on August 14 and spent the last three weeks of the
2000 season as a member of the Kinston (NC) Indians of the high single
A Carolina League.
Ted was released by the Indians in October of 2000 and retired after
two years of professional baseball. Since his release from the Indians
Organization, Ted has held a part-time management role for Headfirst.
In July of 2001 he moved to Cleveland, Ohio where he assists in the
direction of Fractal, LLC, a start-up apparel brand headquartered there.
Fractal sells women's denim jeans in high fashion boutiques and department
stores.
In January of 2004, Ted was offered admission to Harvard Business School.
He moved to Boston and began the two-year MBA program at HBS in August.
